Responsibilities & Duties

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter)
Build and integrate RESTful APIs to connect frontend and backend systems
Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks/libraries
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing for performance and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality
Ensure application security by implementing best practices against vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance
Manage version control using Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests
Test and deploy applications, and support post-deployment monitoring and bug fixes
Maintain technical documentation for developed features and system architecture

Skill-set we are looking for

Requirements:

2 to 4 years of solid experience building full stack web applications, with PHP as your core backend language.
Hands-on expertise with a PHP framework such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
Design efficient schemas, write optimized queries, and troubleshoot performance issues confidently.
Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, and a clear understanding of frontend and backend
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with a frontend framework/library such as React, Vue.js, or jQuery
Comfortable using Git for version control and collaborating through pull requests and code reviews.
Working knowledge of Linux server environments and web servers like Apache or Nginx
Experience working with AJAX, JSON, and integrating third-party APIs
Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, and CI/CD is an added advantage.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel.
Experience with React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
Good knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and REST APIs.
Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP is an advantage.
Familiarity with Redis, caching, and background jobs.
Understanding of automated testing and web security.
