Duplicate Cleaner ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Duplicate Cleaner mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, uses, processes, and protects information when you use its features.

Information We Access

Duplicate Cleaner is designed to help you organize and manage your device. Depending on the features you choose to use, the App may request permission to access:

• Photos and Videos: To detect duplicate and similar media, create and manage photo albums, add photos to supported albums, compress media, update metadata, and remove unwanted files.
• Contacts: To identify duplicate contacts and help you merge, organize, or delete them.
• Google Account and Email Data: If you choose to connect your Google account through OAuth, the App may access the Google user data and email information necessary to provide Email Cleaner features, such as categorizing emails, deleting emails, and processing unsubscribe requests that you initiate.
• Device Information: To display system information and status, including storage usage, memory (RAM), CPU usage, battery information, device specifications, and network status.
• Face ID or PIN Authentication: To protect access to the Secret Vault. Face ID authentication is handled by Apple's device authentication system, and the App does not receive or store your Face ID biometric data.

The App only requests and accesses information necessary to provide the features you choose to use.

How We Use Your Information

Information accessed by the App is used solely to provide and improve the features you request, including to:

• Find duplicate and similar photos, videos, and contacts.
• Create and manage supported photo albums and add photos to albums.
• Compress and organize photos and videos.
• Merge or delete duplicate contacts.
• Back up and restore contacts.
• Organize email by category and help you delete unwanted emails.
• Process unsubscribe requests that you initiate.
• Display device diagnostics and system status.
• Securely store and provide access to private photos, videos, and files through Secret Vault.

We do not use your personal information or Google user data for advertising, profiling, behavioral tracking, or unrelated purposes.

Google Account and Email Access

If you choose to use Email Cleaner, you may connect your Google account through Google's OAuth authorization process.

The App requests only the permissions necessary to provide the email management features you choose to use. Depending on the permissions granted, these features may include viewing and categorizing emails, deleting emails individually or in bulk, managing spam or trash, and processing unsubscribe requests initiated by you.

We do not ask for or store your Google account password.

You may revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings.

Google User Data and Limited Use Disclosure

Duplicate Cleaner's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

• No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data, including email content or related information, to third parties.
• No Advertising Use: Google user data is not used or transferred for serving advertisements, personalized advertising, retargeting, or interest-based advertising.
• No Unrelated Use: Google user data is used only to provide the features requested by you.
• No Human Access: We do not permit human access to your Google user data except where necessary to investigate security, abuse, or fraud issues, comply with applicable law, or where you have provided explicit consent for a specific purpose.
• No Data Storage on Our Servers: We do not store your Google user data or email content on our servers.

Secret Vault

Secret Vault allows you to securely store private photos, videos, and files within the App.

When you use this feature, selected media is stored securely on your device and protected using a PIN and/or Face ID authentication.

We do not upload, access, view, or store the contents of your Secret Vault on our servers. Your protected media remains on your device unless you choose to export, restore, or share it.

Your PIN is used locally to protect access to the Secret Vault. Face ID authentication is handled by Apple's device authentication system. The App does not receive or store your Face ID biometric data.

Photo Albums

Duplicate Cleaner allows you to create and manage supported photo albums and add photos to those albums.

Certain system-managed or Smart Albums, such as Favorites, Recents, Screenshots, and other automatically managed collections, may not support adding or moving photos because of restrictions imposed by Apple's Photos framework.

The App does not upload your photos to our servers when creating or managing albums.

Local Processing

All scanning, analysis, duplicate detection, compression, metadata updates, device diagnostics, email organization, and Secret Vault storage are performed locally on your device whenever possible. Your personal data, photos, videos, contacts, email information, device information, and Secret Vault contents are not uploaded to or processed on our servers.

Data Collection and Non-Sale of Data

We do not maintain user accounts and do not require registration to use the App.

We do not collect or store your photos, videos, contacts, email content, Google user data, or Secret Vault contents on our servers.

We do not sell, rent, or trade this information to third parties, data brokers, advertising networks, or other organizations.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data, photos, videos, contacts, email information, Google user data, device information, or Secret Vault contents with third parties except:

• When you explicitly choose to share or export information using a device feature or service.
• When necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid legal request.
• When necessary to investigate security, abuse, or fraud issues.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Since your personal data, including photos, videos, contacts, email information, and Secret Vault contents, is processed locally on your device, you remain in full control of your information.

No Payment or Subscription

The App is currently available for use free of charge and does not offer payment or subscription features.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
